Beverly Beard – Producer, Supervising Editor and Director of Research

Since 2003, Beverly has been the producer of the Faith and Fate series for Destiny Films. In addition, she is responsible for all the archival images used in series. Researching over 40 photo and film archives around the world, she has found the extraordinary visuals that make Faith and Fate so distinctive. She is also the supervising editor of the series, working closely with the editor and director from script stage to the finished film. Other historical films include: The History of Coca Cola and The American 20th Century

Beverly Beard has over 20 years experience as a film editor in South Africa and England. She was Senior Editor at the South African Broadcast Corporation where she edited documentaries for television. As a freelancer, she edited numerous commercials for national and international clients including a series for US television, Wildlife in Crisis for Viacom. She also has extensive production experience in various areas of the film industry.

After immigrating to the United States and having a family, Beverly started a second career as Art Director for TV commercials and advertising photography working for Coca Cola, Disney, Toyota, M&M’s, IBM, Nokia, Hewlett Packard, Ritz Carlton, Home Depot among many other national clients. She ran a very successful business for 10 years. She now uses her design skills and photographically trained eye to select unique images for Faith and Fate.
